Host Company Description
This is a 5 diamond resort property with a Championship Golf, full service European Spa, and
world class tennis matches, among others. This is a destination for corporate functions, family
affairs, large social events, as well as an escape for local; community members.
The resort is dedicated to developing and training international hospitality graduates for a career
in hospitality/ resort management. Their program provides participants ongoing practical training
on culinary skills required for successful operations of various food and beverage outlets in the
hotel.
Applicant Qualifications
- To apply for the Trainee program, the candidate must have a degree in hospitality
management and 12 months of work experience, or 5 or more years of professional
experience in culinary field.
- Interns must have advanced English, ability to understand and clearly communicate with
a multi-cultural staff in the kitchen.
- Must be very flexible and be able to assist with a variety of tasks especially during special
events, weekends and holidays, expect to rotate through casual dining as needed.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, kitchen environment is hot and muggy.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in kitchen operation of a hotel, restaurant or
club equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
